Had some questions on an older machine. I had some part diagrams but the parts man behind the counter helped decipher the issue that was not annotated on the illustration. Frustrating that JD forces you to purchase entire assemblies instead of the individual parts you need. Incurs a higher price for the repair. Lots of part numbers subbed to another.
LandPro has taken the dealership to a new level. So many machines in stock. Shocking how much things have gone up. Still love the genuine JD products.

The 320Z that I purchased runs great and performs well. I was told that this was last years model and I would get a deal on 'service for 3 years.i am now told that this was never promised or discussed. Now I m being told that it will cost me $379 to have my oil changed. BUYER BEWARE OF FAST TALKING SALES PEOPLE

I had them do the yearly service and add a bagger to it. It came home without the bagger, now they have to come back and get it and maybe I will have it backin2 days maybe. This is not the first time I have had an issue with Landpro.

Sales department is phenomenal, spent 4k there in may, smooth process, great communication and didn’t try to upsell so that is why they earned even 1 star.

Their service department made it so that if I could have given them 0 stars, that would be a more appropriate reflection of my experience there. It was so bad it’s almost like dealing with a totally different company. They had my weed whacker in for service for A MONTH (4 weeks) and HADN’T EVEN LOOKED AT IT. It literally sat there a whole month like it didn’t even exist. When I dropped it off they said their turnaround was 10-14 days….they should double that estimate so they give their customers more realistic expectations.

It’s absolutely unacceptable (imagine if I made a living with that thing). Not only that but when I called for status updates on it, it was like nobody there had any idea what was actually going on. Yesterday I was told their tech “looked at it, but had gone home early” so they would call me tomorrow. When no call came in I called them back and it turns out NOPE that last one was a lie, there was no record it had been looked at. I picked it up to take somewhere else and I’m never coming back. I’d rather drive all the way out to Victor power equipment, spend that time and gas than come back here than ever deal with another Land Pro again. I won’t even be taking my blades here for sharpening and I won’t be taking the mower I bought from them in for service there (if it ever needs servicing).

I’d suggest they reevaluate their service department operations or just close the whole department altogether because even the DMV is more efficient and more useful.

Personally if I were you I wouldn’t even buy from these people, as good as the buying experience was if you can’t get your stuff fixed in a timely matter the sales experience even the best sales experience is irrelevant and I have half a mind to call John Deere and suggest they use someone other than Land Pro for sales and service because affiliating with Land Pro is making them look bad.

Took over a week to change the oil, sharpen the blades, and replace the battery (which started up when he jumped it here so I already doubt we needed a NEW battery) okay, so after charging me 600 dollars for this, the person comes and drops my mower off outside my house in the rain where it could've gotten stolen. No call. No heads up. Just left it there. What's wrong with these people?

Andy and crew are always very helpful. Chainsaws, trimmers, wheels and tires, tractors, they cove all the bases. It's nice to have a local resource where there are knowledgeable employees ready to help.

Service department is abysmal. Stay far away.

[TL;DR]
Took them 3 attempts to fix my 2017 Troy Bilt mower (an MTD product, the same as John Deere). They botched it every single time. Horrible communication, lazy technicians, and overly defensive receptionists. Gave nothing but excuses the whole time and no semblance of a timeline. Ended up having to pay a lawn mowing service to mow my lawn since the whole ordeal took almost 6 weeks from start to finish.

[Full Review]
LandPro took 3 rounds of "fixing" my machine, bringing it back and forth from my house to their shop since they kept missing things or plainly didn't test anything before they signed off on it to deliver it back to me.

I hardly believe the technicians know or care what they're doing back there in the shop. I brought my machine in to be looked at for 3 things:
1. The machine was creeping in all gears and the breaks weren't working
2. The deck belt was too loose and constantly falling off
3. The ignition switch wasn't working and I couldn't start the machine.

All I wanted was for them to fix those 3 things. They told me they could, and so I trusted them to do so. My 1st big mistake.

Took them over 2 weeks to get the machine back to me and the 1st time I engage the blade, the deck belt flew off the pulley. I thought: Did they even touch the thing or test it out?

My lawn was already well past due for a mowing, so I was a bit annoyed. They delivered it on a Monday and promised it would be back by Wednesday. Hilarious.

It took them over a week to get the machine back to me on round 2. By then, my lawn was overgrown. I had to pay someone to come mow my lawn to keep it under control. What's worse is that this 2nd time, the delivery guy just plopped the machine at the end of my driveway. No notice or nothing. I just walk out 1 minute and there it was. I wanted to test it before they left to verify they actually fixed it.

I took it out to mow a couple days later and 20 minutes into the mowing session, the brakes stop working and the creeping came back. You can imagine how frustrated I was.

I called LandPro again to get in touch with Jen. I told her that they messed up the deck belt issue and now the brakes don't work. I wanted a refund for the break repair because, plain and simply, they didn't do what I asked them to do, which was to fix the break problem. Jen was unwilling to oblige that request. I asked to speak with the Manager. Turns out Jen is the manager. I then asked to speak to the owner, Eric, who apparently is never around and always "busy." Great.

By now, I was done working with them. I just wanted the money back for the services they failed to render and be on my way. But no, Eric called the next day and tells me he wanted to see the machine again.

Agitated, I complied with it and yet but a 3rd time, they took my machine. This was my 2nd big mistake.

Another week and a half goes by and my lawn is getting out of control again. I finally get a call from Jen saying that they want me to come down to test out the machine. I eventually go in to try it out and the breaks were barely stopping it. They told me there was nothing they could do. Now they don't even work at all.

My takeaways: after the 1st issue of returning the mower for the deck belt issue, the LandPro team was consigned to getting me off their back. I was no longer worth their time.

- Communication from the Donna and Jen in service was confusing, unhelpful and defensive.
- Eric, the owner, is slippery as soap.
- Technicians are either lazy or don't know what they're doing back there.
- All they can do right is sell new units straight from the manufacturer. Don't count on them for post-sale service.

There are better options to use in Rochester. I recommend literally anywhere else.

UPDATE: 9/23/2023
Breaks are completely failed as of 9/16. I can honestly say my $400 went down the drain. Also, my "great" conversation with Jaime didn't really resolve anything. I guess he just listened to my story, did nothing about it, and labeled this whole situation as "patched up." Yeah right.
