I’ve been really impressed with the staff and offerings at Monticello West. Nan is a blessing and Mitch is fantastic- great overall staff in general. I’m really grateful to these folks for taking such good care of my mother-in-law. It was not an easy transition for her because we needed to make the move unexpectedly fast, but the staff at Monticello West helped tremendously. The fact that Nan has been there 15 years or so is just fantastic. Highly recommend this wonderful facility!

At first I was just impressed with the look, set-up and location of this place. But, starting with the first day we moved mom into a studio apartment the people have become the star of the show. I was amazed so many of the staff know me when I walk in to visit my mom. So many of the staff have been here for 10+ years and they are quick to share that fact and proud of it.

I can't imagine the complexity of running a place like this or the difficulty of keeping your staff up beat and ready to help. I think they also do a great job in communicating with family about what's going on at the facility... not just events that we can take part in but even more serious concerns like someone getting COVID or stepping up precautions to deal with a situation.

My wife and I visited several assisted living facilities in the Dallas area. We chose Monticello West for our mother because of the services and levels of care that were available. We were most impressed with the friendliness and warmth of the staff at this facility. Many of the staff at Monticello West are long term employees. We are pleased with Monticello West and appreciate their level of care and excellent communication.

My mother has been living at Monticello West for about 5 months now. This was a very difficult decision as I am sure it is for every person going through this transition. After visiting another facility down road I was very upset as it was so obvious that the staff and the residents were not happy. When I walked into Monticello West it was the exact opposite, the staff was smiling, the residents were happy and engaged. Residents were greeted by staff by their name and with a smile. I knew this was the right choice. My mother moved in three weeks later. She thanks me every week for finding this place for her. She absolutely loves it! She participates in all the activities they offer and I know she is in good hands. The executive director Michael provides regular communication with emails with updates, which is SO appreciated. The nursing staff will call if needed keeping me informed of any concerns that may arise. Nan was the one who provided up with our tour initially and it is obvious she loves her job. She really made sure this was going to be a wonderful place for my mom. Honestly, this was the best decision I could have made. So grateful!

My 85 year old father needed to be in an Assisted Living facility due to his dementia. We moved him to Monticello West and November and have been very happy with the care he has received. All of the employees are very friendly. Michael the manager is very good about communicating with families about what is happening each week. They have been very responsive to any requests we have.
It was important to us our father would be in a facility that could continue to care for him if his needs increased. That is possible since they also offer memory care. I would definitely recommend Monticello West to anyone looking for a facility for a loved one

Our mother moved to Monticello West three years ago and it has become a very special place for her. She has been able make new friends, stay active and maintain her independence, while having a little help when necessary. The staff is so friendly and attentive, that many have become like family. The location is great and is convenient to all our favorite places we like to frequent for family outings with our mother. Monticello West is a place filled with really nice people and it has been a good place for our mother.

Nan has just been incredible helping us quickly navigate moving our friend from a rehab facility to what we hope will be a tremendous improvement in his care. I did not need to look at any other places after meeting her and learning about the types of services they offer, the full time nurse -24 hours a day- and the enhanced memory care plan. Also, the many long time employees speak very well for the company. The daily menu is impressive too.
I feel relieved that Nan has helped us find a good fit. We are Thankful 🙏

We visited Monticello West in the process of looking for independent living for my loved ones. Nan was so helpful and not only gave us a wonderful tour and answered our many questions but hosted us at lunch (which was delicious)! We were very impressed with this community and all it has to offer. If you or a loved one are in need of a new lifestyle - you should visit Monticello West!
