I am an above satisfied customer for sure! If I had to rate my service with JV out of five stars, well I’d say that him and his company deserve way more. Not only did he make the process so easy, but he made the outcome better than I ever expected. Visiting the warehouse was also very helpful. He talked to me and my partner in a friendly and open manner. He helped me find out what was more in my price range and interest. He was very very helpful in the buying process, no pressure, just honest work. He made sure to finish the project on time and that we were satisfied with the outcome. I’ve chosen JV for multiple projects, because the job him and his crew do just astonishes me every time. I’m never left disappointed and the communication is clear and open if something needs to be altered or replaced. I or my partner can get a hold of him really easily, plus he’s quick to respond to my texts/calls. He’s very hardworking and his crew makes sure to get the job done effectively and efficiently. I’ve attached some photos of different projects I have hired him for. He goes above my expectations every time, I will continue to choose JV from here on out. Our experience with JV flooring was very disappointing and we were left with a botched job (SEE PICS!). They finished the flooring, but the trim installed looks like a train wreck! We could have installed the click lock flooring ourselves, but we primarily hired JV to have professionally installed trim. Now we have to hire another company to come and fix the mess that was left because JV refused to even respond to our messages. We immediately texted JV the same day the work was completed and requested he come to inspect and correct what needed to be fixed. It’s been over 5 weeks and still no response to our messages. His lack of response is completely unprofessional.

Before the job was completed, we agreed on a price. However, after they showed up to do the work, I personally had to go to Home Depot to get the flooring transition pieces because they did not bring anything (like he said they would). While I was gone JV asked my husband for another 100$ to go buy trim because he had only brought quarter round!! He told us he would bring trim to complete the project but again did not do what he said he was going to do. I even confirmed via text that the quote included the trim and flooring to complete the project.

The initial interaction with JV was positive. He answered the phone promptly the first time I called. However, after that, communication was spotty and incredibly frustrating. Inconsistent communication should have been our first red flag. However, we were anxious to get our project completed and JV told us he could probably do it the next week. JV told us he'd confirm on Monday if he could come that week and would confirm the day. Monday came and went without confirmation. We attempted to contact many times.

We were very stressed trying to get any sort of confirmation or updates from JV and plan all the stages of the project (including the tile removal which we told him we were doing ourselves). Our house was in upheaval as appliances were moved out and construction dust was everywhere. We have young children and we were working all week trying to coordinate childcare with family that lived two hours away. We kept trying to get ahold of JV for an update but he didn’t respond. Lack of communication made the entire process insanely stressful because we didn’t know when he was coming and how to plan childcare for our kids. Even up until the day before he came, he did not respond or confirm any of his plans. The only communication I received was at 8:08am the morning they came, he texted "ETA 25 minutes." I rushed like crazy to get my toddlers fed and ready to go to their grandparents before the flooring team showed up.

JV told us he'd be there doing the work along side his team. He was only there a couple of times and then told us he had to go to other projects. He was gone the majority of time. He told us the final quote included completing the flooring and trim work. They showed up with no trim and asked for more money to go buy some at the store. The trim was not completed. They missed an entire section of trim and forgot to nail a different section of trim to the wall. The other sections of trim are completely botched and look terrible. Anyone who visits our house cannot believe how terrible the trim looks.

After a bad experience with another contractor, Juan and his crew came in and saved the day! They were honest and upfront from the beginning. Extremely professional, understanding and kind! They got the job done in 2 days and we are very happy customers. We will definitely have them work on future projects for us!

After a bad experience with another contractor, I did my diligence to make sure I chose one of the best available. I looked at the JV flooring website, scrolled through the reviews, and I viewed hundreds of photos. My conclusion was easy. This was the team that I wanted. Juan returned my messages almost immediately and came to my house the very next day to look at the job and gave us an approximate estimate. He then provide us a written estimate that we accepted. We hired him and his team to retile our shower and bathroom floor, install a vanity, all of the plumbing etc.. He is a testament to a man with patience as our house is not very square, We had an issue with mold as well. He never lost his cool or his commitment to do the best job possible. He was there everyday when he said he was going to be and he worked until late. As homeowners, we all know there are so many contractors to choose from and some of them are less than the honorable. So finding a good contractor who does beautiful work and isn't going to take you for a financial ride is rare. I could never recommend Juan and his team if I didn't know firsthand what they are like to work with and the type of work they do. If you are needing any type of flooring or any work at all please give him a call. I will post photos later next week as my husband and I are still completing the painting in our bathroom. My husband and I are doing the painting and the electrical work. I want to be sure that I showcase his work in the most favorable way by getting our portion completed. So look for those photos and in the meantime if you need a great flooring contractor JV flooring is the contractor for you. Don’t waste your time with other SALESMEN who high pressure, charge you double & take up hours of your time like I did … John will come over with the store samples & give you a quick honest low cost bid. Excellent custom & professional Workmanship & Style. My bedroom was completed in 2 days, no mess & looks beautiful. My dog Rudy is now a JV’s John fan too!
He’ll be coming back to do another bedroom soon. I’m addicted!
