I’ve worked at Newhaven Court at Lindwood for 4 months now, and I absolutely love my job the staff and the residents! I never have worked in an environment that everyone makes you feel so welcomed and appreciated for all you do on a day to day basis.
The leadership here is amazing, and the team members from all departments have been fantastic at making me feel at home! Most importantly, the residents are like my second family, if that makes any sense! I care and respect for each and every one of them as if they were my own family member, and as I would want to be treated or cared for myself!
I recommend this place for anyone to take a tour whom may be hesitant about placing a loved one into any senior living facility!
I believe that your mind will be at ease once your loved one becomes apart of our Newhaven family!

I've worked for Newhaven Court for over 11 years. During my working career I have to say this is the best company I've ever worked for. The administrator (Lori) treats you with respect, she is kind funny, most importantly she works side by side with ALL staff she is absolutely amazing. The employees that work here are dedicated to providing excellent care to our residents. Newhaven is my home away from home. My 2 children are working age and now are also working here because they see me coming home talking about how much I love my job.

My wife and I researched all the assisted living communities in Westmoreland County and selected Newhaven because of the positive, helpful attitude of the staff, cleanliness, room set up, beautiful shared living spaces and planned social activities.

Six weeks ago when my Mother entered Newhaven, she was despondent, withdrawn, uncaring about her appearance and generally depressed over the passing of her husband of 72 years. Since her arrival, she now showers regularly, dresses, applies make up and fixes her hair daily – what a change! She is even doing better cognitively: her memory has improved and it is easier to carry on a conversation with her. As an added bonus, her outgoing personality and sense of humor have returned.

Placing my mother in Newhaven was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make. I can honestly say that I made the right decision – and my mother agrees.

The Newhaven staff is excellent from top to bottom. It is obvious that all employees like their jobs and truly care for the residents. Newhaven truly deserve a 5 star rating.

I started working at New Haven about 2 months ago. I can easily say it’s the most welcoming environment i’ve ever had the opportunity to be apart of. The staff, the residents, even the residents families really do all share the same goal which is to make this place as nice as it possibly can be. Talking to the residents and growing relationships with them gives me a feeling i never thought a job could. If you’re considering or even just browsing around, new haven is a great place to work for anyone who’s interested.

Ok, placing a parent into a personal care home is tough. My mom was very independent before falling and breaking her hip. She never wanted to go to “a facility”, but after rehab, it was clear she needed more help after discharge. The folks at New Haven worked tirelessly to ensure she had the room type she wanted and that all her care was taken into account. They manage her meds (such a relief!) and come quickly when she hits her button. The director of nursing and the charge nurse have been great about communicating any updates or changes in meds. Her place is super cute and is just enough space, without being too big to navigate in a walker. I’m so very happy we picked New Haven! Mom is happy, too

Newhaven Court at Lindwood has been my employer for 15 years. Our staff, who has amazing tenure, goes above and beyond every single day. We all have good days and bad, but those bad days are always easier to get through when you have co-workers and residents that are like family. The residents are well cared for, happy and thriving! This personal care home is the best of the best!
