I had a fantastic experience with X-Ray Technologist Denyse Nichols on Thursday, October 31st. Denyse was training an intern during my visit, and I was truly impressed by her calm and confident guidance. She has such a beautiful, teachable spirit, effortlessly explaining and demonstrating techniques to the intern with ease. It was inspiring to witness her leadership in action—it’s a wonderful example of what mentorship should look like. Denyse, thank you for your patience, professionalism, and for answering my questions about my right knee. Keep shining and doing amazing work

I had physical therapy at this location. I was going to cancel my future appointments at this location but I really like my physical therapist and plus I need the therapy. They push you to use the kiosk which is fine. There is a person standing at the entry way to help you. I asked the rude lady for help because I had cash. She huffed and puffed a little bit so when she huffed and puffed then I got annoyed. I tried to explain to her that I have cash but I do have an old debit card on file that I would like to update. Once she sucked her teeth she got on my nerves. So she tapped for the old debit card for the payment. If it wasn’t for my physical therapist I would not be returning to this location because of Laticia’s nasty attitude. While I am sitting waiting to be called the lady at the front with the burgundy braids / dreads was just as nasty to two other patients. I don’t understand why people apply for jobs dealing with patients and then they have these unprofessional attitudes! I’m sure they put on an act during their interview process. The other ladies at the front desk have always been professional and pleasant! So if you have to deal with Laticia or that other lady at the desk Good Luck. I didn’t even check out I just walked out after my session because I did not want to deal with either of these rude females!

I had surgery for a trigger finger that took 3 minutes. Local anesthesia, no need for time-consuming prep. My guess is that if I arrived a half hour before the scheduled time, that would have been long enough to sign consent forms, be weight, get blood pressure taken, change into hospital gown, etc. Yet I was told to arrive 1 1/2 hours before the scheduled time. Whenever/whomever I asked about it told me that was the standard procedure for all procedures. Nobody could give me a reasonable explanation about why that was so.

My procedure began around 45 minutes late, which meant I spent 4 hours for a 3 minute procedure. During the time when I was finally taken into the room for actual prep, each person who came in to do one thing or another told me that doctor would be in to talk to me "soon," but nobody ever told me that there would be a delay or why that was so. If someone had said something like "the procedures before yours took longer than expected.

I need to ask that everybody I interacted with was pleasant and professional. It was the system that was at fault, none of the fine people who work within it.

I had surgery to my ACL tear, I really liked the attention of the staff , everyone was very professional, the facilities were excellent, I had the help of the translator at all times, my first language is Spanish, I felt very safe and I understood everything. I really feel very happy and highly recommend these facilities. Excellent work by the NYU doctors, Dr. Spencer Stein and his team did an extraordinary job, thank you very much.

They have poor communication and are extremely rude. They don’t see patients for being FIVE minutes late to their appointment. I spoke to someone on the phone and it was the surgery department and I asked her to direct me to clinic and she hung up on me and would not pick up the phone. Highly UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE SHE SHOULD BE FIRED!!!!! How can you be in the medical field being a disgusting disgrace of a human being like that. You should have a desire to HELP people!!! I will never recommend this hospital to anyone, even if it was the last hospital on earth.

Had my Achilles’ tendon rupture surgery here. The staff from walking in to leaving was very nice. From administration to nurses to the surgery staff, I had a pleasant and comfortable experience. Each room from the waiting room, operating to recovery was clean. The nursing staff even waited with me past operating hours cause my Uber was running late. They even helped me get into the car.

I highly recommend having your procedure done here.

I had FAI surgery yesterday on my hip. The staff is friendly and organized. The locations is calm, and not overcrowded, so you really receive all the attention you need. I never once felt unattended to. I would recommend this location for outpatient procedures.

The only thing to keep in mind, is they will ask you to prepay your copay/deductible/co-insurance. If you cannot afford to do this, they have many options and plans that you can choose from. I have a medical reimbursement plan, so I didn't not have to pay in advance.

if I could give 10 start I will-- had ,my ambulatory surgery with dr. hennings-- since the moment I enter at the reception till my surgery-- every staff was amazing- attentive-- explain everything. my recovery has been exceptional , I don't even has to take the pain medication-- if I would be still waiting for mount Sinai or Elmhurst hospital to schedule my surgery.. i would it be in a lot worse health situation.. so if you need a promptly surgery with a the best of the best you need NYU.
