Where do I even start?! This place is GORGEOUS on the inside and out literally! The staff are incredible and very caring when it comes to their residents and their families. The management team is PHENOMENAL, especially Tammy McElhose the Executive Operations Officer! She goes out of her way to make sure everyone who resides at The Pines is comfortable, safe and treated fairly! 5 stars all across the board!

I had the pleasure of visiting at The Pines of Mt Lebanon and the experience has been exceptional. One thing that impressed me about The Pines of Mt Lebanon is how much effort they put into making sure the staff are supported. Whether it’s fair schedules, ongoing training, or just making us feel heard, they prioritize us. And that care trickles down—residents get the best care because the staff are motivated and happy.

The facility is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, with plenty of activities, amenities, or resources to keep the residents engaged and happy.

The team here is warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their work. You can tell they are appreciated and empowered, which reflects positively in their interactions with residents and families. It’s rare to find a care home that invests so much in creating a positive atmosphere for both staff and residents.

Excellent and attentive facility!

We have been incredibly grateful for and appreciative of the very personalized care and attention that our mom has received at The Pines of Mt. Lebanon. We are managing her care from afar, and have found The Pines, most especially Tammy, the Executive Operations Officer, to be incredibly communicative and highly responsive - giving up weekends, evenings, and holidays to tend of our mom's needs and to proactively provide us with real time updates. We have no doubts that Tammy and her staff have our mom's best interests at heart and top of mind, including monitoring any changes in her health that require escalated care. Tammy has given us incredible peace of mind; the depth of her experience and compassion have been readily apparent from our first interaction with her and consistent over the past few months that our mom has been at The Pines.

I would highly recommend the Pines of Mt. Lebanon to anyone looking for assisted living options. The staff members are professional but also genuinely compassionate. The staff truly care about the residents! As our mother’s condition declined, the staff were there to support her increasing needs. The staff, including housekeeping, aides, med techs and the Director, made a significant difference in the quality of our mom’s life when we could not be with her. Our mom was surrounded by kindness and support. Our family is truly grateful for their kindness.

I cannot say enough about Tammy McElhose the Executive Operations Office at The Pines of Mt Lebanon! We toured the facility and absolutely loved it! We were on a time crunch to get a place for Mom that was cozy and inviting. This place was it; mainly because of Tammy. She went above and beyond. Responded to our questions immediately even late night weekend texts! Tammy came thru! So accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable and experienced.
