We were coming in on an international flight to Newark with an autistic child and needed assistance through customs because of his limitations. The port authority officer assigned to us met us right at the plane when we deboarding and walked us all the way to where you drop your luggage off again to go through screening. He was patient and kind. His help made it so much less stressful.

Landed at 840 finally walked out of the airport at 936. Only 1 to 4 custom agents working for hundreds of US citizens. I guess they can't afford more cause we send all the money to foreign countries. All the kiosks to make things faster are not used. O and they collect your face for their database.

I was forwarded to Port Authority to find my father at Newark Airport. Long story short, he missed his flight and got rebooked for one 10 hours later and had no way to contact us. My brother and I were worried as he did not arrive at the expected time in Toronto, and it had been over 20 hrs since we last heard from our dad.

I dealt with Officer Malizioso, him and the team were very understanding and helpful with my concern. Officer Malizioso kept me updated throughout the search for my dad, and when they located him at the airport, they had him call me from one of their cellphones for a peace of mind that he was okay! They turned a stressful few hours into a relief! So much weight taken off of our shoulders. Thank you Officer Malizioso and your team for your efforts. 🙏

Deserves 1 star for being poorly planned. No connections to other terminal except shuttle bus. No moving walkways. Restaurants don't have great service (Smokehouse BBQ place out of almost all items by noon incl pulled pork). No restaurant options for Gates A29-34

The most horrible customer service in the country. I lost a bag, you can't get a hold of anyone .online they make you pay for this service to find your things and they just send automated emails that there trying to locate my belongings.

The officers are of no help all except 1. The rest of them are rude and disrespectful. Yelling and speaking to everyone as if they are a child. If you don't like your job get another one! Don't take it out on passengers or people picking up their family.
