These are hilarious, kind-hearted, and considerately helpful people. I came in for more information and without any pressure they helped me find the answers I was looking for. Without a doubt I will be joining the army reserves. A big Thank-you to Sergeant DeLuna, for escorting me to take my test and being with me from the beginning to make sure I was 100% sure on my choices and future. Sergeant Armstrong is an absolute awesome man you could ever have the privilege of getting to know. if you are nervous or have any questions I would definitely say to take a trip and talk with any man or woman there, they are all super friendly and excited to help!

Joining the military is a big decision, however Sargent Anthony Veliz was absolutely amazing through the entire process. He came to our home and answered all our questions about the Army and went above and beyond to make sure my son was completely comfortable with his choice to join the military. He was a joy to work with and kept us informed at all times. I highly recommend him to anyone that looking to join the Army, rest assured your in good hands. Thanks again, Sargent Veliz!

We spoke to recruiters from other recruiting stations in the surrounding area only to be disappointed by their lack of urgency and apathetic demeanor. After calling and speaking to SSG Veliz and SFC Armstrong I knew this was the best place for my daughter to enlist. Enlisting in the military is a huge commitment and our future soldiers deserve the best treatment! From the first time we spoke until my daughter was off to basic they were absolutely amazing. They ensured that my daughter and I had no questions left unanswered and were consistently keeping us up to date during the entire process. They went above and beyond and honestly made us feel like family. As a Veteran and more importantly as a mother, SSG Veliz is honestly the best recruiter and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a future in the Army!! Thank you SSG Veliz and SFC Armstrong for making my daughter’s experience much more pleasant than how it started!! In my opinion the experience one has with their recruiter leaves a lasting impression and I am beyond grateful for the entire team at The Woodlands Army Recruiting Station!!

The Staff Sergeants there are great people. SFC De Luna and SSG Veliz has helped me through the enlistment process and prepare me for basic training. I definitely feel more confident in my self and know that I will do great. They take their time to listen and answer questions. 10 out of 10, I would recommend this recruiting station.

SFC Joey DeLuna I as the recruiter I met with. I was nervous when I first went to his office, but he helped me relax and answered all my questions. He provided me with some unique words of wisdom and ultimately helped me with my decision. I cannot thank him enough for his honesty and for genuinely caring about my best interest. If anyone is worried about getting “hood-winked”, please go talk to Joey.

From the moment the point of contact was made for my son Veliz, and Deluna came to the house to meet my son to introduce themselves. They were very knowledgeable and showed great concern in my sons interest in the Army. They provided us with information we needed and answered any questions a concerned mother would have. My son was a little unsure at the time and they were not pushy to try to get him to join. When my son made up his mind to join Veliz was EXCELLENT in communicating with the both of us. I had the pleasure of speaking/meeting with Armstrong and Totter as well. They showed a true interest in working with my son and I. I highly recommend this recruiting station to work with if you are considering the Army. Thank you all so much.

When I walked into the The Woodlands Army Recruiting Station I wasn't sure what to expect. I had a lot of questions, and I was nervous I would not be taken seriously with my intention to apply for Officer Candidate School in the Army. My anxiety was quickly alleviated when I was greeted by Staff Sergeant De Luna and the team. SSG De Luna has been incredible to work with and I am so thankful for his guidance, mentorship, prompt communication, patience, and ability to answer every question that I've had along the way. SSG De Luna and the Woodlands team are not simply trying to meet a "quota" - they are passionate about making sure the candidate experience is top notch. As an example, MEPS can be an intimidating place if you have never been there before. SSG De Luna and the team transported me downtown, guided me every step of the way, and then transported me back to The Woodlands afterward. I am confident this white glove service ensured my success. The Woodlands team also takes take pride in ensuring candidates are prepared and have a realistic preview of what to expect every step of the way. For example, when I had concerns about how to best prepare for the ASVAB, SSG De Luna helped me prepare and alleviate my anxiety by sharing the best apps to download for practice and practice tests. I ended up getting the score I needed for OCS thanks to his advice and guidance. In summary, if you are interesting in joining the US Army whether Enlisted or Officer and you are in the Houston/North Houston area, I highly recommend making a visit to The Woodlands Army Recruiting Station. SSG De Luna and The Woodlands team will take care of you.

I've just joined the Army and ship in a few days. Every Sargent there is extremely helpful, and I feel I've been properly prepared in the expectations and realities of boot camp.
