Mammograms can be very embarrassing since you have to just lay everything out there in such an awkward, exposed position. But the technologist did a super job of chatting with me about the procedure and putting me at ease! Thanks!

I did not have a good experience here. When calling for records they couldn’t find them. When calling to do a recent fairly urgent ultrasound I held for several minutes and was met with a very rude lady who didn’t seem to care about my questions or concerns. When I called back to have someone return my call they never did. From now on I will be going to midtown imaging they are nicer and kinder!

I showed up and the lady up front said my insurance benefits were not populating. I had given my information to the person who made my appointment hours ago but I was happy to sit down and wait while she tried to get a hold of them. Then she calls me up and says to just go ahead and go back with the lab tech while she figures it out and she just won’t charge out for this visit. If insurance benefits are not populating, do not send the patient back and say you won’t charge out for it. I receive call later telling me I have a $900 bill coming and they wanted to call so I wasn’t surprised. I have a right to be informed of the estimate whether insurance will pay for it or not in order to consent to treatment. As a patient, I am not able to tell if an establishment counts as a “outpatient center” or “independent lab”, and without the woman running my benefits and giving me any form of answer, I was unable to make my own decision to be seen at this establishment or find somewhere else to go. I am now saddled with a bill I cannot afford, even at a self pay rate, when I could have used my expensive health insurance to go somewhere covered.

My second terrible experience with Touchstone in a month. I went in today in terrible pain for an MRI on a pelvic fracture. I was almost finished with the MRI when it stopped and the tech had failed to read the order. I was told they don’t do the testing the doctor ordered. She did apologize but told me at least 4 times she had a busy day. There were two opportunities that this could have been caught with their schedule but both failed. Doesn’t this business owner care about their suffering patients.

It’s always been a good place to go you get in and you get out and that’s what I like. Everyone is very courteous. Even the tech was very courteous. Choose to go there if I can.
